Online Outfitting Feature  / Mini Boden

The intention was to highlight key pieces from the new Spring range, and suggest how to wear them. Executed by showing this 'coastal' collection was inspired by elements from the seaside eg. the 'hotchpotch breton t-shirt' influenced by colourful deck chairs or the 'cable knit cardigan' derived from a chunky woven yellow rope. An online feature was created which customers could interact with and shop from. UK based illustrator Louise Lockhart was commissioned to create a seaside scene illustration in a risograph style, these elements were used alongside clothing still life images.

The feature allowed customers to click on any of the six objects within the seaside. The next slide revealed the clothing inspired by that object, along with a suggested outfit. Items on each slide appeared underneath, to easily add to ones basket. The feature was also viewable in fullscreen mode and on a tablet.
